Welcome!

On October 1st, the Indiana Systems of Care conference returns to the Wyndham Indianapolis West (formerly Adam's Mark) for a day of exciting opportunities to inspire and inform those who serve youth and their families.

Last year’s conference was attended by a sellout crowd of more than 400 people. Professionals and families involved in mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice and education from across the state gathered to learn innovative ways to serve youth and collaborate with child serving systems. This is the only cross-system conference in Indiana, demonstrating how we can all work together with youth and families to achieve success.

Attendees at last year’s conference told us the event helped them better serve and engage families, advocate for their system of care communities and better understand the many dynamics of addressing client needs. Participants felt that the conference included information relevant to their work, while the event was also engaging and a “positive networking environment”. We’re confident that you’ll feel the same about this year’s conference!

Our Keynote Speaker

Brett Eastburn was born with no arms and no legs, but more importantly, he truly believes that he was also born with no handicaps! Brett believes you're a success only if you choose to be. He also believes you are handicapped only if you allow yourself to be. Brett considers his body a very special gift to be used to inspire others to be the best they can be! We are pleased to announce that Brett will be sharing his energy and enthusiasm at this year’s conference.

Concurrent Sessions

Based on your feedback and evaluations, we are offering a variety of more advanced system of care topics. This year's concurrent session topics will cover a broad range of topics, for example:

  • successful system of care collaborations among schools, DCS, probation and mental health,
  • multiple strategies for serving special populations,
  • dealing with secondary trauma,
  • family and youth voice and choice.
